1 Legal Status & Scope
(accessible via skee.app and our official mobile applications) is a peer-to-peer carpooling and cost-sharing network designed to connect private car owners ("Al Basha") with passengers ("Rafik El Sekka") traveling on the same routes to share actual fuel and toll expenses.
Important Clarification: is not a transportation company, taxi service, or commercial ride-hailing carrier. We do not own vehicles or employ drivers. This Privacy Policy governs all user data collected through our platform.
2 Information We Collect
To ensure trust, safety, and operational routing, we collect the following categories of data:
Account & Profile Data
Full name, mobile phone number, profile photo, work or university email address, and preferred gender preferences.
Identity Verification (National ID)
National ID details provided strictly for identity verification via secure third-party integration. Your National ID document and number are NEVER shared or displayed to other users. Verified profiles only display a public "Verified ✓" badge.
Location Data (Active Trips Only)
Precise location data is collected ONLY during an active, confirmed carpool trip with your explicit permission to facilitate pickup navigation and safety tracking. We do NOT track location outside active trips.
Vehicle & Route Info
For car owners ("Al Basha"): car model, color, license plate, available seats, and departure schedule.
3 How We Use Your Data
- Matching & Booking: Connecting commuters traveling along similar corridors.
- Safety & Verification: Validating identity documents to maintain community trust and enforce safety policies.
- Women-Only Rides: Enabling dedicated "Women Only" filters for female members requesting female-only rides.
- Trip Communications: Facilitating essential trip notifications, in-app messaging, and route updates.
- Customer Support & Legal Compliance: Resolving disputes and complying with legal obligations under local laws.
4 Data Protection & No Third-Party Selling

- Revoke location permissions through your device settings at any time.
